Trivia and Interesting Tidbits

Many modern Mercedes-Benz vehicles are limited to 155 mph, but imagine driving one on the Autobahn at speeds over 268 mph.  That’s what took place in January 1938, as the legendary Rudolf Caracciola piloted the W125 Rekordwagen along the Frankfurt to Darmstadt stretch, setting a public road top speed record that stands undisputed to this day.
